Cradonyl ® Products & Projects

Natural Plastics activities are not only present into the first step of the chain, the production of the granulate Cradonyl ®. Natural Plastics offers many possibilities for various products. Our products are 100% biodegradable and in compliance with the international standards EN13432, ASTM D6400, Vincotte OK Compost and are in line with the definitions of Cradle to Grave. The products are all eco-effective and the production takes 65% less energy than producing conventional plastics.

Projects

All the projects of Natural plastics are produced from Cradonyl ® and comply with the criteria set out in philosophy of CradleToGrave ®. We do our projects in line with the guidelines of ISO 26000, the Social Responsibility (CR).
We have own production facilities, knowledge and experience. When you will have an interesting project with applications of bio-plastic please feel free to contact us.  Several of these projects are supported by the Government and Natural Plastics is supported by Synthens, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Senternovem. Some of our projects:

Eco Keeper

The eco keeper is a patented product which makes it possible to anchor trees underground. The product will be introduced in September/October 2010 on the market. With this product is Natural Plastics Synthens for nominated by the province of Noord-Holland as one of the most innovative and sustainable company. The keeper can also be used for many applications. The use of this product can save millions of trees who are very needful for the reduction of CO2.

Drain Aeration

We start the production for a proper venting and watering drain (perforated flexible hose) to support trees by their grow to a healthy and strong tree. Until now these drains are mostly produced from polluting PVC. The drain that we developed is 100% sustainable, CO2 neutral and totally biodegradable. In this project we work together with one of the leading companies on the European market.

Rope/cable

By Natural Plastics, in combination with a research organisationdevelope a rope/cable  from biological polymers. This with the equivalent specifications, strength and use like by e.g. nylon or UHDPE. This rope or cable is completely compostable and does not contain any negative substances to the environment. Applications are diverse.

Flowers foil

Natural Plastics developed a foil for packaging of flowers by florist shops. The foil is completely 100% biodegradable and together with the cutting waste it can be put in the "green bin" or placed as home compost. A major player in this field in the Netherlands with a all over the world network has more than interest in this  sustainable flower foil. From the end of August, this foil will be tested by top florist in the Netherlands. After this test period the foil we lanced in October.

Film packaging

By Natural Plastics various 100% biodegradable packaging films are developed. With this packaging companies can pack there various products 100% sustainable, CO2 neutral and totally biodegradable.

Agricultural film

With our production possibilities we will from September several biodegradable agricultural films can be manufactured customer-specific. The films can be provided with a variety of perforations.

Insulator sheet

For variety of utilities we developed a biodegradable protective sheet (technical insulator) which is anti-static and it will not pass electrical energy. This product has been tested and will be used for some projects for public affairs. This sheet shall replace current existing sheets made from polluting PVC.

Signs

For the famous industrial designer Jaap Elzas (Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Cooper Hewitt New York) the possibilities of signage for a large government project will examined. Furthermore an award-winning design of Jaap Elzas will made from Cradonyl ® and will be presented worldwide.

Bio carrier's food sector

With a company specialised in the food industry we develop a special carrier for a food product designed for the consumer market, the hotel - and catering industry. This company is market leader with this product what now made is from conventional materials. Our expectation is that consumers will be using this product in the autumn of 2011 the product will be unique and will give divers possibilities for other developments.
